Twitter has become a powerful way to stay connected with other people. Here are some ways we are using it this summer to help you have a great time out at CSU:
CSU Twitter Account: Click here to follow the staff conference on twitter. As of today there are 270 other staff following the account and staying up to date on local deals, information, and news from other staff.
The CSU Hashtag: a hashtag is used on Twitter to mark a keyword or topic. You can go to http://search.twitter.com/ type in a hashtag, and see all the tweets that use it. It’s a great way to follow a topic or event without having to work hard. If you are tweeting something that’s related to the conference, finish the tweet by including #csu2011 –The social media team is paying attention and will share relevant tweets on their account.
Find other staff who are on Twitter: If you are looking to follow other staff on Twitter, go to the list of staff that the conference is following by clicking here. It’s a great way to get to know people before you meet up in person at the conference!
